Not just any door, but the one that separates reality from the infinite realm of play. A door that opens only for a few days each year and, whenever it appears, transforms everything it touches.

At the heart of the poster, the great die of DAU Barcelona ceases to be an object and becomes a portal. On the other side, there is no festival: there is a world where imagination follows its own rules.

To keep this door open, a group of almost invisible characters work at the top of the portal. For fifteen years, they have strengthened its mechanisms, repaired its cracks and kept it balanced so that thousands of people can pass through. They represent all the hands that have built the festival over the years: organisers, publishers, game designers, demonstrators, volunteers, institutions and everyone who, often far from the spotlight, has made this shared adventure possible.

And then comes the most important moment: When someone steps through the die, they cease to be merely a spectator.

They become an explorer, an astronaut, a sorceress, a Viking, a heroine or an inventor. Playing does not invite us to escape who we are, but to discover all the people we can become. Every game opens up a new possibility. Every decision creates a story. Every table offers a different adventure.

That is why 15 is more than an anniversary. It is the symbol of a portal that has spent fifteen years connecting people, generations and imaginary worlds. Fifteen years proving that play is one of the most powerful ways to create culture, build community and imagine shared futures.
