An introductory adventure for adults, in which the protagonists, in the midst of the Reapers’ War, will receive a peculiar and unique assignment from the French viceroy in Catalonia, the Prince of Condé. By fulfilling this mission, (which may be among the most dangerous they will ever undertake, but it will certainly be the most ridiculous of all), the protagonists will leave the prince’s good name where it belongs and, in return, will secure his favor and all the benefits that this entails.

Misèries i malaurances is a D&D hack created by Luke Crane to role-play in 17th century Europe with the main ingredients of cloak and dagger, occultism, intrigue and tragedy. This role-playing game puts a twist on the classic D20 system and adds heroism points with counterpoints and mechanics tailored for the period, such as the musket system or the duel.
